Quilts for Veterans

The Wounded Warrior Project

We were honored to be invited to participate in the Wounded Warrior project Fall of 2009.  We were able to present several quilts to those who have given so much.  Mr. Jack Ford and Joe Perez of the American Legion sponsored and organized this event to honor our men and women who have been wounded in our defense.  We were also able to present 2 quilts to the Wounded Warriors project in appreciation of their support of our military.  One quilt was presented to the National HQ and the second to the regional HQ of the Wounded Warriors Project.

We must also give recognition to Lynn and her staff at the Captains Cove restaurant.  They hosted the dinner for our Wounded Warriors and worked hard and extended every courtesy to the heroes being honored.  This is another example of our people supporting our veterans and showing the appreciation we all feel.
