Recognizing honor

A fact that we all must recognize is that we do not bestow honor on anyone.  Our heroes earn their honor with their sacrifices for us and for our nation.  The honor is there, all we do is recognize it.  Moms Love Quilts, medals, awards, certificates and such things are not the giving of honor.  These are things used to acknowledge the honor that our warriors have earned.  That is why we do not give honor.  We show appreciation and give a symbol of that honor.
