Quilts for Veterans

We shall never Forget !!!!  September 18th 2009 was National POW/MIA Obsevance Day.  Moms Love Quilts was invited to participate at Nellis AFB and display our quilts. 

The big attraction of any war is the troops on the battlefield.  But every member of our military knows and tries to prepare for the horrors of capture.  The evening news will follow the story until the next news cycle then move on.  But we must never forget that every member of our military continues the battle into his prison.  Every minute of every day is a battle to resist and to survive.  Tens of thousands have never been repatriated and have simply dissappeared. 

The heart and soul of these warriors is a testament to them and all our military.  They are a special group who have been tested in ways we will never know.  They were tested and in simply surviving they were the victors.
